And while CobornsDelivers is happy to assist you will all your food-related needs (even last minute items!), we also wanted to share some emotional support as well! We asked one of our bloggers, who is preparing for her first child’s high school graduation, to share with us some insight into the graduation party-planning experience!
Ideal Graduation Gift – Jewelry? Trip? Money?
Until recently, I had no idea what the perfect gift may be. And honestly, I was overwhelmed trying to figure out what my own ideal parting gift for her would be. Jewelry? Trip? Money?
I was really sort of haunted searching for the ideal graduation offering for my firstborn. It must be perfect, I thought, since she’ll remember what her parents gave her for her high school graduation for the rest of her days.
So not wanting to over-think the situation, I went to my daughter and asked her what a supreme graduation gift may look like. And here is what she said: “I’d love to visit New York before I start college and it’d help to have a little bit of spending money to go with it. And since I don’t have a watch, I’d also enjoy a nice grownup one that I can keep way into the future.”
So there you have it – my little girl has officially entered adulthood! Isn’t wishing for jewelry, trips and money the basic cornerstone of ideals for us grown ups?
Oh boy, kids do grow up fast, don’t they? What’s on your graduate’s gift list this year?
